This month, we’re excited to feature Violin student Brianna Merson!
Brianna is a student of Ms. Ivory and here is what she had to say about Brianna:
“Brianna is a hard-working student who doesn’t shy away from challenges. She is always excited to learn new things and eager to make adjustments to help bring her violin playing to the next level. She is a joy to work with and her tenacity, along with her enjoyment of the learning process is exciting to see. “

How long have you taken violin lessons?
I started violin lessons when I was 5! I just restarted violin lessons at Flourish a little over a year
ago!
What do you love about playing the violin?
I love learning new pieces! I also love playing for church and having fun!!
What is your favorite music to sing or listen to? Favorite composer?
I really like to play classical music! My favorite composer is Vivaldi!!
What do you like about Flourish?
I like how nice and welcoming everyone is at Flourish and that the teachers help you improve
your music!!
What else do you like to do?
I really love rescuing animals, going outside with our chickens and ducks, and doing gymnastics!
Anything else you would like to add?
I just want to thank Flourish Music Academy for all they do to help me improve and grow in
music!! I am going to be playing my violin for a music festival with my church in October!!
Also, I have a new baby sister who is 6 weeks old!
